Today our topic will be pretty simple, actually, but not simple. We're talking about grace,

the doctrine of grace. What is it? When Christians use that word, what are we talking about?

And why is it so significant? Why do we hear it all the time?

There we go. Thinking Fellows Podcast episode four. So Rod, what do you think? When we talk about grace,

we just did gospel, right? These concepts came up a lot in that episode on the gospel. When we talk about grace, what is it? What are we talking about?

Well, at the simplest level, it's the opposite of law. But I've often complimented Sunday

school teachers who had their little kids learn the acronym God's riches at Christ's expense.

I use that in class still today. Yeah, and I think that's a solid little beginning.

I do too.

We've got to distinguish it from Rome

But basically, it's God's favor towards sinners because of Christ's work for them he is able to

as the Bible says both be the justifier just and the justifier of those who believe in Christ
