Hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Shored Stories for Kids!

I'm Lucy your host and I'm here to read you guys a magical adventure story every single

week and we have another very special story for you in today's episode so I wonder what

magical adventure we'll be jumping into today okay so today shout out goes to Grace and

she is from Vancouver, Washington and she loves our stories and listens to them every

day in her car rides and would love a story about an expedition to the South Pole where

her, her mum and dad and two of her girlfriends Lennon and Maya find a big winter dragon and

a witch's castle where there are good witches and also some evil witches oh thank you so

much for this idea Grace what a great winter theme well we hope that you love the story

Simons written for you and everybody else too are you guys ready let's dive in

once upon a time on the southern continent of Antarctica there lived snow witches this was a

land of snow and ice and bitterly cold wind but the witches didn't mind they liked the cold but

what they didn't like was each other they lived quiet lives and often wouldn't see another

witch for months on end as the years became decades and the decades became centuries some

of the witches overcame their dislike for another and began to form small groups they would

share their knowledge their food and best of all have someone to talk to who wasn't a penguin

more years passed and those small groups merged together until there were just two

covens of snow witches living on Antarctica the witches drew their power from the South Pole and

each group wanted to build a community as close to this point as possible traveling from opposite

directions one from the west and one from the east both groups of witches arrived at an enormous

snow covered mountain near Antarctica's heart because of the mountains great size neither group

knew that the other one was there on opposite slopes it was here that they decided to build their
