Summary

It seems like believing that God protects us is a very basic principle we should all know by now, but circumstances can cause us to doubt and be fearful. God’s Word is so clear, so powerful and brings us a clear picture of the many ways that He can and does protect us!  I’ll be reading several passages out loud, praying that God will ignite your heart to faith and trust! Scriptures shared are from the New Living Translation: Isaiah 55:10, 11 Psalm 34 Psalm 121 Psalm 18 Isaiah 41:8-20 Psalm 91 2 Timothy 4:18 (Please check out my devotional on Amazon: Unhurried Grace for a Mom’s Heart) *aff link (Some of you have asked how you can support the podcast. Because the enemy comes in and for various reasons we can begin to wonder

0:41.4

if God actually protects us. And this is the beauty of God's word is that we can go back to it

0:47.1

over and over and over again, knowing that it's true, that it never changes and that God never

0:52.7

changes and that he does in fact protect us.

0:57.1

Even as I'm reading to you today these scriptures, I personally am needing this reassurance.

1:04.1

Fear is running rampant and I'm just as vulnerable to it as you are, but God says he did not give us a spirit of fear,

1:12.6

but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.

1:16.3

He said that perfect love casts out fear.

1:20.7

If we know Jesus as our Savior, fear has no authority over us.

1:25.8

And one of the reasons that is true is because God does, in fact,

1:31.4

protect us. So as I begin to read the many ways that God protects us, I want to remind you that these

1:38.1

are not just words. God says the scriptures are not just words.

1:46.8

They are our very life.

1:50.3

Here is what God has to say about the power of his word.

1:53.6

Isaiah 55 verses 10 and 11 say,

1:59.3

The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth.

2:02.7

They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out and it always produces fruit.
