and it's a to drive a car.

Houston is very big, very wide, very hot, and so if you're going to exist in that world, you have to own a car. And so growing up for me, though, vehicularly speaking, I was a loser when it came to vehicles. My first car was a two-tone blue Oldsmobile

omega. It was older than me. I bought it for $60. It would idle at 15 miles an hour, so when you put it in

you had to be ready to go. It also had a very loose steering wheel, so if you

wanted to turn you had to get started early and then you better midway

through start working it

backwards because you were going to hit the curb. It also honked every time it

turned left which was awkward because I lived near a middle school and I

would drive home as they were getting out and I scared a lot of middle school.

Girls had an all AM radio and it rained in the car so you just really didn't want to touch

the backseat.

Driver's side door didn't open so it was interesting to get in I had two options to slide through the

window or to open the passenger side and crawl through I remember the first time I

gave a cute girl a ride home from high school I opened the passenger side door

and she went oh and started to get in.

I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,

dove in and it was like, okay, now you can come, all right.
