Hello there and welcome to the Inside Health podcast. I'm James Gallagher.

I feel very fortunate. And to be honest, because I've had it for so long I thought by now everybody must have it

and now technology is advanced me included I can look at it on my phone as well I'm pressing on

the app and I'm just waiting now for it to come through view my medical records so I've got a choice now. Consultations,

medications, immunizations, results and letters. So if I want to say about medications,

an order of prescription, I can just tap on medication and they send it through to the chemists.

And so I'm in control of my own health.

Well, that's Pam.

But if you or I want to see our GP medical records, well, quite frankly, it can be a bit of a pain.

We've got to go through the process of requesting them and then waiting for them to be prepared.
