Let's get into the mix. Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, Senate Republicans set their leadership election plans. Number two, House Dems, Long Verre do-over in Long Island. And number three,

K Street Watch, S3, and West Front are set to merge. Happy Wednesday, everybody. We are just six days from an election day and we are leading Punch Bull News a.m.

With a look at how both House and Senate Republicans are gearing up to move straight from

November 5th to their leadership elections, a quick turnaround.

As numerous races around the country could still be undecided, Senate Republican leadership

formally announced Tuesday that their

internal party election, Jake, will be conducted on November 13th. House Republican leadership has scheduled

its candidate form for the 13th as well. Oddly enough, the House Republicans, interestingly,

they're going to be conducting these elections at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, not in the Capitol or the Longworth Building, and Senate

Republicans are very likely to hold their elections in the old Senate chamber.

What I think is actually the most interesting things, both sides of the chamber are going to be

having contested and competitive races here when it comes to who's

going to lead both the Senate and House.
