We also turned to Romania suddenly unstable,

calling off a presidential election because of alleged Russian interference, hybrid warfare,

using TikTok and other means online to influence the outcome.

Of a first round presidential election,

second round was called off delayed till next year in national government forms.

We talked to Jonathan Spire of the Middle East Forum

about the firefighted in northeast Syria

between what is called the Syrian National

Army, that's a construction of the Turkish military, and Erdogan, and the YPG, that's the Kurds

in Syria. Erdogan makes war on the Kurds, he believes there a threat to his administration

in Ankara.

The U.S. supports the Kurds, the YPG, and works with them to contain ISIS, which is deployed in the Bidia Desert to the south of where the firefight took place.
