1:29.4	taken a spoon to. It's just smooth on top. I love the idea of a blank space waiting to be filled.
1:38.4	And that is the magic. And that's the magic that a new year promises us.

1:52.6	And eventually it is just another document with like three thoughts in.
1:55.8	Eventually it is just a carton of yogurt.

2:03.5	And I say that because the pressure of a new year often feels like pressure to be a new you, to burn it all down and start over and be the kind of person who believes that they are
2:10.8	a specific kind of person. But in my experience, life is not really like that. I am a morning person when I get enough sleep
2:19.2	and when I'm ready to wake up before the sun. I am a creature of habit except on days when I'm not.
