Welcome to a brand-new, year-long, season that we are devoting to Fr. Richard Rohr's new book, The Tears of Things. Each month, we'll be moving through a new chapter of the book with Fr. Richard himself, as well as CAC Faculty and Staff, and a range of guests who are living the teachings forward from the context of their lives. In this episode, we're setting up the season by diving right into the Introduction, "Good Trouble." We're excited to introduce Carmen Acevedo Butcher as an additional co-host to this season of the podcast. 0:17.8	how the show works. This show is all about living the teachings of Richard Roar Forward.
0:24.6	Every single episode, we have a robust conversation with Father Richard in his living room,

0:34.6	And then we take one of Richard's big ideas and we talk to a guest who we think can help us expand our understanding of it, even as we invite you into the conversation.
0:44.3	In the very first season, which was a little bit of a mini-season, we looked at some of the big ideas that drive Richard's thought and the Center for Action and Contemplation.
0:53.1	Starting in the second season, we began exploring Richard's books chapter by chapter.
0:59.2	So in our second season, we looked at Richard's classic falling upward, and each episode
1:04.5	we dove into one of those chapters.
1:06.2	But one of the things we told our listeners is you don't have to read the book to get something out of each
1:11.8	episode. But if you want to read along with us, we'd be thrilled in our next season. We looked
1:18.9	at Richard's rich Franciscan legacy and his classic, eager to love. But friends, this season is

1:29.7	the opportunity to do is to explore a brand new book of Richards together. The tears of things,
1:38.1	which comes out on Ash Wednesday in March, is Richards next and he claims very last book. We'll see. But this is exciting because we on the
1:48.9	Everything Belongs team are going through this book for the first time even as you're going
1:53.2	through it with us. And again, you don't have to read the book to listen in. It's a great way to
