politically motivated for my wife's job. I write the substack good queer news, which is about reasons

to be hopeful in ways we can use joy to fight for a world worth living in. I wrote a book for

parents of trans kids.

I travel around the world teaching about trans, right?

I want to build a world that's better and I will not stop until it is done.

Okay, so I subscribe to a lot of substacks and they're all news and they're all negative.

And then I get into your, I go into my inbox in the morning and there's yours sort of in the sandwich

between horrors. Yeah. So can you talk about why you started good queer news? I started getting

involved in politics when I was living in Missouri in 2023. I started going to the state capital

every single week. Like I was in the ship and I was expecting to feel worse as I got more involved, but I found that we would have

these amazing victories that we fought for.

We would show up to the Capitol.

There'd be 250 people in support of the trans community and four people there against us.

It was amazing.

And we would defeat bills.
