specifically if you're doing a floating raft technique, which is a hyper-efficient technique, but a lot of people, you know, they have questions.

And then finally, just a few considerations as far as my picks for plants. First, what is deep water

culture? Again, I have that article on my site, but basically deep water culture

is where you use some sort of tank or reservoir and that tank is filled with a solution of both water and nutrients.

And then in a floating raft system, you are taking usually a styrofoam raft and raft water. Now that water again, it's got nutrients and oxygenation typically because you're going to be running

airstones under it to make sure that it's oxygenated. Now the second thing we're talking about in this

Why should we choose one type of plant for deep water culture over another?

What would be the reason we would do that?

Well, the first thing is going to be the overall weight of that plant because, you know, if the

floating raft system, it has to float, which means that a lot of different plants can't be used.

It would be very difficult to grow something fruiting like a tomato or a cucumber.

They would be too heavy, they would take up too much space.
