S.B. Keshava Swami is a spiritual author, community mentor, dynamic teacher and worldwide traveler. In 2002, after graduating from UCL (University College London) with a BS in Information Management, he adopted full-time monastic life to expand his knowledge, deepen his spirituality, and share these timeless principles with the wider society.
For over twenty years, Keshava Swami was a resident monk at ISKCON UK’s headquarters, Bhaktivedanta Manor. There he pioneered the School of Bhakti (www.schoolofbhakti.com), led the monastic training program and drove forward national outreach projects. In 2022, Keshava Swami accepted vows of lifetime renunciation. He continues to diligently study the Sanskrit texts, considering how to proliferate spiritual wisdom in a world that is suffocating from materialism.

| 0:38.0 | It's another Niki to be with you. And yeah, just have this opportunity to share some ideas, share some insights and ultimately share experiences of |
| 0:52.0 | divine revelation as it were and experience. So yeah, looking forward to it. |
| 1:00.0 | If I could hold you here for five hours, because I have questions about the holy name, the power of it, how to best practice it. |
| 1:09.0 | But before we jump into that and before we share a little bit more about your journey, I was watching this beautiful video with you and macoon to where he said that we must pray before we share spiritual wisdom. |
| 1:20.0 | So I'd be honored to have you pray for us and also explain what the prayer means. |
| 1:28.0 | Sure. When we have any kind of discussion on spiritual wisdom, then we understand it's not just happening on the level of the intellect, but it really requires an open heart and purified consciousness. |
| 1:46.0 | And therefore Sanskrit is a beautiful language by which we can open the heart and purify the mind. |
| 1:54.0 | And so we chant this mantra. I'll just chant two or three mantras. The first mantra is about the spiritual teachers who open our eyes with the torch light of knowledge and awaken us to realities which we may have been blinded to for most of our lives. |
| 2:15.0 | And in that way, they furnish us with a different vision. |
| 2:20.0 | The second one is also to the spiritual teachers. It explains that by their grace, even someone who doesn't have physical capacity can cross mountains, even one who doesn't have eyesight can see stars in the sky. |
| 2:38.0 | And even someone who sometimes fumbles with their words can begin to speak very eloquently. |
| 2:45.0 | And therefore it's a prayer for grace that we're able to achieve what the Divine wants us to achieve in this life. |
| 2:53.0 | And the final prayer will be the Hare Krishna mantra, which is known as the Mahamantra, the Great Chant. |
| 3:03.0 | And it's made up of names of the Divine and ultimately is a cry of a child for its mother pleading for spiritual connection. |
| 3:17.0 | So I'll share these prayers and invite you to just our viewers to just close your eyes and open your heart and mind to this beautiful journey which we'll go on today. |
