0:42.2	You know, I was hoping that we could begin today with a prayer or some words from the
0:48.9	behalf that you were born into. Like how would Robert George Wilson, how would your father
0:54.8	begin one of these devotional meetings, one of these holy encounters that we're about to start?
1:02.0	Well, one of the things that Baha'is love to do more than anything is pray. So that's a great
1:08.2	place for us to start. And yes, my father, Robert George Wilson, rests his soul a past
1:15.2	way about three years ago. He was a really dynamic and great Baha'i teacher and leader. And
1:24.5	yeah, we would start a meeting with any number of prayers. There's so many prayers, hundreds
1:30.2	that were written by the founder of the Baha'i faith. So we have a whole book of prayers actually.
1:36.1	But I wanted to start with a prayer that wouldn't normally be said at the beginning of a meeting.
1:43.7	But it's a really important prayer for us, Baha'is, because it's called the daily obligatory
1:48.9	prayer. And between noon and sunset, Baha'is all over the world, there's six million of us
1:56.1	turn towards the Baha'i holy land in Haifa, Israel. And we don't have to do that now on this
2:05.6	recording. But and say this very short, simple prayer, it's just three sentences, I think. And it
2:13.5	really contains within it some of the essence of what Baha'is believe. So I'll start with this
2:19.5	prayer. I bear witness, oh my God, that thou hast created me to know thee and to worship thee.
