Greetings, friends, cold, dry open for this Good Friday show because I got to preemptively do a couple of things.

One, I got to tell you, as the show is grown nationally, I've had to cut out a lot of the music and you're going to hear those little drops of music in the show today because as you grow and get national, some radio stations can't afford to pay for the music.

And also in the podcast, we get penalized, so we have to strip it out.

Second, I hope you guys have a happy Easter.

I hope you enjoy the show.

Unlike prior years, I'm doing, as Charlie always does, hour one, two, and three, listen at your own pace.

And then lastly, I'm going to step

aside for a week and go on vacation with the family. So please don't email next week, ask

where the podcast is because there's going to be no podcast next week. There's not going to be one.

thoroughly delighted to have you with me. It is Good Friday. And every year kind of tide like,

I guess, I do this program, and I want to explain out of the gate.

It's not designed to be explicitly theological.

That has been what it becomes.

But the issue is that today is the anniversary of literally the most important event in human history,

and you can be an atheist and recognize

that fact.

We're not talking about the resurrection of Jesus Christ, though I believe it happened.

I do believe in the resurrection, but it is indisputed.

And if you ask historians at Harvard, at Yale, because these surveys have been done,

Cambridge University, Oxford University, it was Sorbonne in France and other institutions around the world,
