0:00.0	Good evening. The show tonight begins in Kashmir, with Hussain Okani and Bill Rajo telling the story of how a piece of the Raj, the great India, colonial conquest by Great Britain, turned into a perpetual war in the second half of the 20th century and continues.
0:22.0	Kashmir, a dominant Muslim state, was under the control of a prince who was a Hindu.
0:32.5	Therefore, it was never clear which way it was going to go on the partition.
0:37.6	There were several wars fought over it.
0:40.5	It's a forbidding landscape in part, and a line of control between, not sovereign border,
