| 1:13.0 | So it's a beautiful sight to see, something that we really only get to see every 20, 30, 40 years. |
| 1:20.0 | Yes, I remember the days we talked about unemployment in the valley and the house prices crashing. |
| 1:28.0 | That was the great recession of 2008, 2009, but now golden times accept. |
| 1:35.0 | And here's the concern. I hear repeatedly from Jeff Bliss, our colleague, that the cities of California do not enjoy a good weather, |
| 1:46.0 | do not enjoy good governance and are discouraging, especially the big city near you. |
| 1:52.0 | That would be San Francisco and the big city near you. That would be Sacramento and the big city near you Los Angeles. |
| 1:58.0 | Why, Devin, why with such perfect weather are the cities running off the rails? |
| 2:05.0 | John, we discussed this article that you brought to my attention a few months ago called the Dune Loop, the Hangos and the Financial Times. |
| 2:13.0 | And it really seems like that's what's occurring here in California. The population continues to decline. |
| 2:21.0 | The homelessness and random people walking around aimlessly continues to increase. |
| 2:29.0 | And you brought up the housing crisis of 2008, but really it started in California in 2006 was really bad in 2007. |
