I'm Carrie Doherty, and today we're bringing you another Golden Rewind, where we go back and rewatch our favorite episodes of the Golden Girls and offer new insights since we first started breaking down these podcasts, these podcasts, these episodes way back in 2014.

And it's time to hire a private detective

The Pope's Ring. Oh, but before we get to that, let me just, let me just start this off for

Carrie, because I know Carrie's in a moment.

We'll talk about all of the things, but I want to start it off at least.

That one of the things that Carrie and I talked about off air was because we were trying to set up how we're going to talk about what we're going to talk about in this intro today.

And one of the things we talked about is how special this audience is and how important this audience is and how we've never lied to this audience. We've never, we've never had

anything that was sort of like, we've kept anything from you for like the purposes of recording or

anything. We try to keep it happy and bubbly and everything. But like life happens sometimes.

And we talk about these things.

And we go, we've had so, we've cried so many times on this podcast in lots of different ways.

We've had, you know, my cat has died, my dad has died. Like things have happened on this podcast where

emotional things, heavy things happen. And I want to maybe give a little

bit of a warning to say we're having another heavy moment right now. Maybe not in like the ways that,

you know, that I previously mentioned, but like we are having a heavy moment. And we don't want to

keep that necessarily. And we want to explain how we're going to tackle things going forward and

a little adjustments to schedules and then keep things in a very you know light and happy and

distractible way like that is the wonderful beautiful thing that the golden girls gives us but before
