There we go. Good. Finally, a little enthusiasm from you. And I don't want to start the show on a downer,

but we are going to be talking about an injury situation in the NFC West with Matthew Stafford. We'll also talk

about the Niners' own injury situations, which are, you know, scary as well, plus joint practice

with the Denver Broncos coming up. So a lot of things to get to on today's show. First up,

let's start with the Stafford injury issue because look, the Rams are the

Niners biggest competition in the NFC West.

An injury to their starting quarterback obviously affects the 49ers.

And for the record, I think the 49ers were going to give the Rams a run for their money

in the NFC West anyway, even with a healthy Matthew Stafford.

But we got news today 11 that

stafford had an epidural several weeks ago because he's dealing with an aggravated disc in his back

he's 37 years old what do you think is going on with the Matthew Stafford situation

I think they're in for a long season because if you're having that in training camp already,

once you're getting hit and we know Stafford is the type, I would say he's probably at the top

of the list now of kind of like the Big Ben style of quarterbacking where i'm going to stand here i'm

going to hold it as long as i can and then i'm going to take a massive hit as i'm releasing to try to

get as much as i can like he takes more hits than anybody else he will hold that ball into the last second
