My name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Jesse Meekam show.

And I am here each week to obsess out loud into this microphone all by myself

about how to get you good at money. And we've talked a little bit about reality being

something that scares you versus something that informs you. We've talked about how money

worries you or money empowers you.

I'll tell you something that's a little more, I don't know, a little more insider baseball, perhaps.

But when you're bad at money, annual bills happen to you all at one time.

They land on you with no warning and they just sweep your legs right up from underneath you.

I don't know if they sweep your legs out

or if they just land on top of you.

It's not good, you do not end up in a good spot.

That annual bill just knocks you out.

And then you get back to your feet,

you're a little unsteady,

but you're starting to gain your bearings again.

And then another big bill just nails you again.

And that is a, that's the state of someone that is bad at money.

Annual bills happen all at one time.

This big weight is just handed to you.

It's like, pay this bill.

And you look at it, and it's this big bill, and it's labeled Christmas, but it's this big expense. And you're just like, oh my, this is so heavy. I actually can't carry it all right now. So you bring in Visa or MasterCard and you're like, y'all, will you help grab the corner? Just, hey, you got to lift with your back, lift with your back back visa but you all kind of lift it together and
