Hello, my name is Jesse Meekam with another episode of the Jesse Meekam show, and I'm here each week

obsessing out loud about you getting good at money.

And one way you can tell that you are going from bad to good at money

is that there is more of you in the equation,

more of what makes you uniquely you.

As we work through the questions,

as we try and figure out how to give every dollar a job,

we recognize that the more we look at our plan and see ourselves reflected back,

that is a signal that we are getting good at money.

So you might say, Jesse, in practice, what does that look like?

Well, it might look like my having an eye on a specific jig to cut specific joints on a table saw

because I'm into it right now.

Or it might look like me buying some new trail shoes because I'm doing that this summer

a little bit and they needed a refresh.

It might look like not spending money on things also. So in the Meekam household, it looks like not a lot of spending

on eating out. To be totally honest, a date night for me and Julie, and not a lot with the family,

one, because it's so, so so expensive and to be totally

honest we just haven't found it worth it we don't see ourselves in family restaurants spending

but i do see me and Julie in fancy restaurants every once in a while really indulging

so there's a little bit more of us, a little bit more of you.

And you can see that.

You can see where you don't spend your money.
