Hi and welcome to our episode on gods and goddesses. We are going to be discussing these deities, these auspicious supreme beings that have divine

status, sacred gods and goddesses, are experiences with them, what they stand for, and how to

invoke and connect with them. What's interesting about these archetypes is that oftentimes

the same type of god or goddess is portrayed through many

different cultures and religions, but just with different names. For instance, if we look at goddesses

of fertility, we find Venus and Roman mythology. The Aztecs use Chimala. We have Oshun in Africa and Hathor in Egypt. And Jude and I are going to be

talking about the goddesses that we personally work with, but it might be interesting to recognize

those virtues in another goddess or God that you might feel a little more connected with.

We can call on these deities to assist us with what we have going on in our life.

They can work as little helpers behind the scenes, somewhat similarly to our spirit guides,

but a little bit differently, and we'll be talking about that.

So we're also going

to be discussing how to invoke them and how to utilize them. Jude, anything you'd like to add there?

Hi, Patty. Hi, Jude. All right. So I just want to start off by saying that I may or may not be

pronouncing deities or deities correctly. I tend to say deities, so I apologize

in advance. In my perception of how I view gods and goddesses through my experience,

the best way I define them is that I see them as these sort of very advanced supernatural

spirits from higher dimensional planes who incarnated as divine beings on

earth at some point in time in our history.
