Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures, and let's dive into Exodus 3 verses 8 and 10.

Moses was living as a simple shepherd when he approached the burning bush and heard the voice of the Lord.

As Moses listened, the Lord told him

that he was aware of the Israelites trials back in Egypt. He said, and I am come down to deliver them

out of the hand of the Egyptians. This is great news. Moses must have been super excited. The Lord

had a plan to save his people from slavery. But then imagine how he felt when the Lord added this.

Come now, therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh that thou mayest bring forth my people,

the children of Israel out of Egypt. I cannot imagine how Moses felt. He must have had a minor

heart attack. Bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt sounded great when the Lord was going to do it.

But little old Moses, that was a different story. Do we ever have those kinds of feelings?

Gathering scattered Israel by sharing the gospel, it sounds awesome for someone else to do,

but little old me, no thanks. Well, here's the great news. If God gave Moses the power to do the impossible by

freeing Israel, he can help you and me gather latter-day Israel, no matter how hard it may seem.

So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is, God will help gather Israel. Thanks so much
