Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Moses chapter 7, verses 26 and 28.

Now, have you ever wondered how Heavenly Father feels about you?

Sometimes I wondered if he gets annoyed or exasperated or

frustrated or mad at me like my earthly parents sometimes did when I was a child. But Moses

7 teaches us a powerful truth about how God sees us, even when we're exasperating. This chapter

tells the story of the prophet Enik who had a vision of God. And in this

vision, God looked down on his suffering children who had chosen not to follow him. In other words,

they were being exasperating. Quote, and it came to pass that the God of heaven looked upon the

residue of the people, and he wept. Imagine that. Our perfect father who has so many children, we can't even

count them, was weeping over those who had rejected him. How much he must love each of us that he

would weep over our suffering even when it was self-inflicted. Moses 7 also gives us a glimpse

into how Satan feels about us. During the same

vision, Enix saw Satan's reaction to our suffering, quote, and he beheld Satan, and he had a great

chain in his hand, and it veiled the whole face of the earth with darkness, and he looked up and laughed,

and his angels rejoiced. What a stark contrast to a weeping God.

The more we suffer, the more Satan enjoys it.

He laughs at our pain and our separation from God.

If we could keep those two images in mind,

it wouldn't be very hard to choose whom to obey.
