If you'd go please to third John in the scripture's third epistle of John, we've been on a series for some weeks now.

I think that we're nearing the completion of this.

We'll see.

But we've been talking about that God's will is success.

And we've been looking at more than one side of this.

We want to continue in that today.

In 3 John, the second verse, 3 John 2, he said,

Beloved I wish of the translation say I desire,

above all things that you may prosper and be in health,

even as your soul prospers that you may

prosper and be in health.

Is that the will of God?

You know, if our father

is not pleased with us

prospering materially and being

healthy physically as our soul is prospering,

then he's out of harmony with every other parent, every other good parent.

Because what father, what mother wants to see their child sick are broke?

None.

So God, the Father God, would be out of agreement with every good parent

if he takes pleasure in us experiencing poverty.

If he takes pleasure in us being sick and hurting.
