Turn with me, please, to 3 John 2.

The second verse, we began a number of weeks ago talking about that God's will is success.

And in 3rd John 2, he said, Beloved, I I wish or other translations say I pray or I desire above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers

the weist translation says,

Beloved, in all things, I'm praying

that you'll be prospering

and that you'll be continually having good health

just as your soul is prospering.

Is it really God's will? That not only do we prospering. Is it really God's will that not only do we prosper spiritually and soulically, but that we also

prosper externally in our bodies, in health, and also in our finances?

Is that true?

A lot of folks don't believe that,

but you'll find ample scriptural evidence of this.

In Psalm 35, 27.

3527, so let them shout for joy

and be glad that what?

Favor my righteous cause. Let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which has pleasure

in the prosperity of his servant. Is this true? Does God actually take pleasure when we do well? If he didn't, he would be out of harmony, different from any good father or mother. Is he a good father or not? Well, what good father or mother enjoys seeing their child hurt financially or be in lack

or not have what they need? No, every good father or mother is blessed when their child does well.

Right? What parent wouldn't be thrilled?

And their son or their daughter made their first million?

Oh, come on, I didn't lose you, did I?
