Good morning. God morning to you.

Krishna Das says, chanting the divine names invokes the inner heart, which is the present

that lives within us. This heart is not an emotional state. Emotions come and go. It's also

not referring to the physical pump that resides in the chest. The heart is in a boat, our

home, the place in each of us where we know who we actually are.

Ravana Maharshi said, the heart means the very core of one's being, without which there

is nothing, whatever. Rumi said, what is the heart? A flower, opening. Close your eyes

and fill into that imagery. I remember years ago I came across a gift. Is that how you

say it? GIF, GIF. And it was like a field of flowers. It was animated, a field of flowers,

and they were all blossoming at the same time. That is how I fill on the inside when I turn

within. And like Saguro says, within is not a direction. It's a dimension. Becoming aware

of that presence there to me feels like a field of flowers blooming. Coming to life.

And even though we know that the heart that these great teachers talk about is not this

pump in the chest, it's easy to access in that center. And so as you breathe, imagine

if there's a flower there inside. And that bud is closed up tightly, but you can tell

that it's pink. It's going to be a pink flower. And as you breathe, I want you to breathe

into it. That flower, give life to that flower, give it permission. It's a flower, it's a

bloom. With each breath, it's unfolding. With each breath, it's opening further. And

with each breath, you're smiling bigger because you can feel that opening of the heart,

of the flower. That is your heart. And now it's releasing its perfume, its fragrance,

and you feel it. It's sweet, it's divine. You're smiling bigger, you're swaying. It's
