Hi, my name is Pete Scazzaro. I want to welcome you today to the Emotionally Healthy Leader

podcast. And our title today is God's Revelation that Burns Through Racism, Part 2.

Actually, part two. Last week was a part one, God's revelation that burns through racism.

And it's a message on actually Ephesians chapter 3 that I'm going to be sharing with you.

I believe very much that we as a church have

an enormous destiny before God because scripture says that. And that in these days in which

there's been this global awakening around the issue of racism, at least for many, my great concern

is that we as the Church of Jesus Christ

sees that moment and actually integrate this into our discipleship in a way that's meaningful,

sustainable, and transforms our character and our witness to Jesus around the world.

And so if we're going to bring that kind of a long-term change, we must be gripped by the revelation of God in Scripture.

And the more I'm gazing in questions and webinars on the topic around what's going on around, you know, racism and racial injustice,

I realize how few have a vision of God's vision of what the church is meant to be.

And as a church that transcends race, culture, gender, and class. And then our participation to join that. And so today,

you're going to hear a message from Ephesians chapter 3 and this incredible text of Paul

who expounded on the implications of the gospel. Paul couldn't talk

about the gospel and the blood of Jesus that was shed for us at the cross for our salvation

without talking about the implications of this for God's creation of a church that transcends

nation, social, racial, economic, gender, cultural barriers.

And he gets this great text in Ephesians 3, 9 and 10, and you're going to hear it, which is God's intent was that now through the church,

the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.
