Historically, there are five truths central to the doctrine of salvation. They're called the five

solas. They are that our salvation is first by God's grace alone, through faith alone,

in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, and all for God's glory alone.

The fact that salvation is offered solely by God's grace through faith in Christ according to

the Scriptures allows for no contribution on our part and ensures that all glory is God's

and not our own. It protects the glory of God from our smug pride and vanity.

It provides no other solution for the eternal healing that we seek.

But where do you turn for relief from the judgment and condemnation of the world?

I pray this meditation from 1 John 1, will open your eyes to the truth that there is none

like God in his glory. We are saved for his glory, healed for his honor, and forgiven for his praise.

Does your way of life ever block you from embracing God's glory alone?

We'll leave it behind for the next 15 minutes to rest in this divine retreat and soak in the

Begin in stillness as you encounter the singular glory of the triune God within the Holy Father,

the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit.
