As you ready yourself for sleep tonight, nestle in your bed, lay your head gently

onto your pillow and begin to breathe deeply and slowly feel your muscles relax in your neck in your

shoulders down through your abdomen to your legs in your toes every part of you is

relaxing still and quiet I will tell you a story

tonight of a man who lived his whole life in faithfulness to God believing that he would see God's salvation knowing that

he had a plan to redeem his people a man who had seen the goodness of the Lord even

through the hard times in his life a man who never doubted that the prophecies of old would be fulfilled as you

continue to breathe deeply breathing in peace and rest breathing out worry fear and unsettledness let me pray for you

sovereign God thank you for being faithful thank you for your promises throughout

time because you have kept every one.

Tonight as I sleep, I pray that you would remind me of your love for me and all that

you will fulfill in my life because you have said that you will complete that

which you've started in me thank you for never leaving me alone in the precious
