I want to share with you in the conclusion of this year a message on how to discern God's direction for the next year. How to discern God's path for your life

for the next year. If you're a note taker, which I would encourage you, I'm going to share with you

five thoughts that I want you to take with you into the next year. The Lord wants your next year

year to be better than this one. But I don't believe

that New Year's resolutions are the key. Not against New Year's resolutions, but New Year routines

are better than resolutions. God wants you to have a new things happen next year, not because you set

some goals and you have a vision board

but because god has a vision for your life and he wants to move in your life the new year doesn't

start just when the new life doesn't start just when the new year comes there has to be a shift

and a change in your life for something to happen that is different from this year.

Wishing for things to be different will not make them different. Just because you're going

to hit 2025, typically we get a new year which is a new start to the same problems, to the same

us, to the same bad habits and to the same bad decisions. God doesn't want next year to be the same

way as this year was. The first thing I would like to share with you is this start the year with

prayer and fasting. The Bible says, seek first the kingdom of God and everything shall be added to you

and His righteousness. That is the principle of the first in the Bible.

In the beginning, God. See, if your beginning has God there, something is going to happen with the rest of it.

He seems to bless it. Now, the smart people in this world who study habits, they talk about a keystone habit,

a habit that you choose that has an influence on all other habits.
