I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything. Here we are evidence for the Bible. This is our ninth session. I can't believe we've gotten this far already and we're going to talk tonight about Daniel chapter 9 prophecy about Jesus.

This prophecy about Jesus is is unique in the Bible. It's also really, really important

because of the nature of this prophecy. You see on this YouTube video series that we're

recording right now.

We've gotten some comments about the prophetic statements in the scripture

and one of them is, in fact I'll quote it, this is one of my critics,

his name is Jesse Selbert.

Jesse who I've interacted with on YouTube. He, and I'm quoting him, he said this,

if someone says something extremely extraordinary is going to happen and then leaves the time the time frame as

eternity I would say that it's not a prophecy. Now I disagree with Jesse's

criticism because if it's an extremely extraordinary event and

then it is fulfilled against all odds, then you may not necessarily need a specific time frame. And that's kind of the details around the crucifixion of Christ.

We'll get here next week, we'll talk about the details,

we've already discussed some of them.

But today we will answer this criticism with a time frame prophecy about Jesus Christ.

Daniel, the Book of Daniel actually predicted when Jesus would come, not just that he would come, and why, some of the why he would come,

but the win, which is what we're really interested in.

That's going to take the bulk of today, is to see what did Daniel say.

So the passage we're going to read is Daniel Chapter 9

versus 24 through 27. The whole chapter is one big section and it starts off with
