The Lord Jesus was the greatest traveler in history.

We have the privilege of walking with Jesus every day.

When we began our journey with Jesus many months ago now,

one of the things that intrigued me about the Gospel according to Mark was a phrase found in the last verse.

And we've had to study a long time to get to this verse. We're coming now to the conclusion of

our study. At least we're beginning to wrap it up. We've come to the closing verses. Let's begin

reading in verse number 17. The Bible says, in these signs shall follow them that believe.

Here we are again, back to believing on the Lord and getting the message to others so they might believe. And these signs

shall follow them that believe, in my name shall they cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues,

they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them.

They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

So then, after the Lord had spoken under them, he was received up into heaven and sat on

the right hand of God, and they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working

with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

Amen.

Here's the phrase I call your attention to, the Lord working with them.

We've come now to God's construction crew.

We've come to his work zone.

There was a little chorus we sang as children. He's still

working on me to make me what I ought to be. I'm glad God's still at work today, aren't you?
