Hey, we're continuing our series in Matthew.

Some of you didn't, we forgot that we were even in a series on Matthew, but we are.

So flipping your Bibles to Matthew, chapter six, Matthew six is where we're going to pick

up the story of Jesus now.

If you're new to the Bible, you're unfamiliar with the scriptures.

Matthew is simply a documentary about the life of Jesus.

There was a documentary maker named Matthew who didn't have a video camera.

He had pen and paper and he wrote down the accounts of the life of Jesus.

And so that's what we're just looking at.

We're looking at an eyewitness account to what Jesus did when he was here and how he

lived.

And actually, the specific passage that we're in today is kind of a collection.

It's a couple chapters of a collection of Jesus greatest hits, basically.

It's like all of his best teachings, all of the most important stuff, all kind of

compacted together within a few chapters.

So we're going to jump in tonight and I think it's going to be really fun.

The past few gatherings have been pretty interesting.

So Matthew 6 verse 25, let's read together.

Therefore, this is Jesus speaking, I tell you, do not worry about your life.

That's easy enough.

What you will eat or drink or about your body, what you will wear.

Is not life more than food in the body more than clothes?
