Good morning, my friends. Good afternoon, good evening, whatever time of day it is. I'm

thankful you join me for the morning mindset. If you're new to the morning mindset, my

name is Carrie Green. Thank you for being here. Thank you for taking the time to align

your mind with God's truth. That's all the morning mindset is about. It's an opportunity

for us to pause, take a deep breath, get ready for the morning and align our minds. And

we'll start today by asking you a question. If Jesus were to stand before you right now

and look you in the eye and tell you a promise, would you have any trouble believing that teaching?

My guess is most of us would say absolutely not. I mean, if Jesus stood here in the flash and he

reached out and he took my hand and he looked deeply into my eyes and he said, this is true. This

is reality. Man, I would have no problem believing that. Well, friends, that's exactly what's about

to happen because when we open the scriptures and we read the words of Jesus, we are hearing a record

of what he said to his disciples. And therefore what he's saying to us, we're hearing a record

of his heart for mankind expressed to us. And we need to take that very personally. And so today,

we're looking at John chapter 16 verses 25 through 28. Jesus is speaking to his disciples before

he leaves the earth. And he says, I have said these things to you in figures of speech. He's talking

about his parables. He's talking about the illustrations that he was often using. And he says,

the hour's coming. When I'll no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I'll tell you

plainly about the Father. In that day, you will ask in my name. And they do not say to you that I

will ask the Father on your behalf for the Father Himself loves you because you've loved me and

have believed that I came from God. And I came from the Father and have come into the world and now I'm

leaving the world and going to the Father. Now put on the breaks and let's analyze what Jesus just
