I wanted to pray according to verse 1, but then I read verse 2 and I was like,

oh, we gotta do verse 2, then I got to 3 and I said, oh, we gotta do verse 3, this passage.

So rich, it's so full. So just let verse 1 soak in this picture of God's mercy as your soul

takes refuge in the shadow of his wings until the storms of destruction pass by.

In other words, storms of destruction will pass by.

Some of you are walking through storms right now in your life.

And I just want to encourage you with this word from God, those storms will pass by.

Those storms for all who trust in God will not be the end of your story.

And they'll not just pass by, but as you're in the middle of them,

you can take refuge in the shadow of God's wings.

So cry out to him, this is verse 2, to God who fulfills his purpose for you.

God has a purpose in the storm.

God is working in the middle of the storm.

So cry out to him for him to accomplish his purpose and you through you.

In the lives of others around you, he is working.

So cry out to him and trust him to bring about his purpose through these storms.

And then verse 3, God will send from heaven and save you.

God will send out his steadfast love and his faithfulness.

What a picture from heaven.
