I'm excited to be before you all.

I want to do this just because it has been a personal conviction of mine.

If you are not getting convicted by the Holy Spirit regularly, I really question if you say it.

Because there's just certain things that you used to do that if you try to do, they don't hit like they used to.

And if you try to do it anyway, the whole time you feel this, anybody know what I'm talking about?

So as I was praying, I said, man, I really, really desire for the Lord to meet us every time we gather.

I don't want this to just be a Sunday service.

I want this to be an encounter.

I want the Lord to meet us here.

And so a personal conviction of mine, I asked myself in prayer, I said, if Jesus were to come

to our church, would he call it a house of prayer?

You got preaching, you got dancing.

But would he call it a house of prayer?

Read the Gospels and notice when Jesus was the most irritated.

It was when he entered into the sanctuary, the temple, and it was not a house of prayer.

So my personal conviction, y'all are going to see it hard because I'm not going to stand

before the Lord and say, listen, you entrusted me to wash feet for a living, but I did not

steward this house being a house of prayer.

So what we're going to do just for a few moments, let's give God some praise and prayer

that he allowed us to see it through.

Can we do that?

Yeah.
