Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are back in the Thrive

Bible Taver one and I trust that you'll like this one. I sure do. Today's devotional is titled

Trust with all your heart and we're reading out of Proverbs 3 verses 5 and 6 and it says this,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will

and all you do and he will show you which path to take. The love letter from God says,

Beloved Child, I am faithful and trustworthy. When the pain you experience and the problems

that come are too heavy for you to carry, I will help you carry them. I want your heart to be

at perfect peace in the middle of any storm knowing that I am the captain who will not let you

drown. When you're in the middle of an overwhelming circumstance, choose to trust in me in my

faithfulness. The more you learn to trust me, the more you will realize how very present and involved

I am in your life. I have everything under control. Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says,

Our God asks us to trust him with all our heart. He knows how destructive fear is to our health

and to our faith. He wants our hearts to be at peace so we can hear him whisper to us.

The treasure of truth says, When you surrender everything to God, you surrender fear.

I feel like this one was challenging for me because the last line of the first paragraph,

can you read that? It says, I have everything under control. I know when I hear that, I want it to be

true but sometimes I don't always feel that way. I started to grapple with that as you were reading

and then it hit me. I was like, wait a second. He has everything in control for his glory and his

kingdom, not for my glory, not for my security, not for my safety, not for my social status, or my bank

account, or my own kingdom. And to be clear, I'm not saying that God doesn't care about those things.

He does. But remember, we serve him. He's our Lord. And yes, God serves us and he died for us.
