Hey there, my friends. Let me ask you a question. At what point do you think God came up with the plan of salvation?

Today, as we look at Genesis chapter 3, we are going to see that God had the plan of redemption, the plan of salvation that you and I enjoy

in mind from the very beginning.

This is the morning mindset.

Welcome.

This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's word for this day.

We'll be doing so by looking at Genesis chapter 13, verses 14 through 15,

as we continue our series entitled God's story. So get out your Bibles. We're going to dig

into that in just a moment. But first, I invite you to pray with me as we prepare our hearts

to understand what God is teaching us through His Word today.

Our Father, we are asking you to give us insight into what is recorded for us in the book of Genesis.

Show us the reality of what you knew and thought even back then so that we can take comfort in it and also understand your sovereign

hand we ask it in jesus name amen all right today will be looking at genesis chapter three

verses 14 and 15 and verse 21 because these two together show us that god kind of tipped his hand, even at the point when

sin entered the world, to show us that he had things well under control.

Let's look at it.

Versus 14 and 15 is God speaking to the serpent, a curse of sorts that he puts on the serpent.

He says, because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock

and above all beasts of the field. On your belly you shall go and dust you shall eat all the days of

your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring.

He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel. Now let's pause there for a

moment and let's just think about what's being said here. God is speaking a curse and even a prophecy
