dad is also tired but extremely joyful and excited for this devotional yeah Yeah, okay, where am I at? Okay, here we are. First off, I just want to say this. I love that we get this time together. Can I say that? I don't want you all to think to yourself not that you would but like man I can't believe he's doing this

your time this is us playing offense with our time this this is it like I'm living it and

this gets me very excited so anyways we're picking up with day three of our

redeeming your time devotion on the Bible app there's a link to that in the description if you

want to follow along and as always I'm going to read the scripture then I'm also going to

read the Devo.

The scripture is Luke chapter 4 verse 42 and it says this.

Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place.

The crowd searched everywhere for him

and when they finally found him they begged him not to leave them

The devotional says this now more than ever we are living in what see us Lewis's Devil Screw Tape called the Kingdom of Noise.

And I'm not just referring to the obvious increase in external noise created by non-stop news,

entertainment, and the buzzing of devices in our pockets and purses, I'm primarily

referring to what all that external noise creates, namely internal noise that blocks our ability

to be silent and reflective.
