Depending on where you live in the United States, it's hard to make it through the month of June

without seeing pride flags all over the place.

Apparently, it was in 1999 that the president at the time Bill Clinton made a presidential

proclamation that June would be gay and lesbian pride month.

It seems like everyone has jumped on the bandwagon, including big businesses and sports

teams.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Dodgers debuted a special ball cap with an LA logo,

with the LA logo in rainbow lettering. Star pitcher Clayton Kershaw drew a lot of heat for adding the Bible reference, Genesis 9, 12, through 16, to his ball cap, which is the passage if you didn't know where God gives the rainbow as a sign of his promise, never to flood the earth again. It was a kind of protest to all of the pride festivities.

One viral tweet commenting on the pitcher's hat said, quote, Clayton Kershaw will always

be a Dodger great, but it's things like this that make him a lot less likable.

Just wear the hat, be a tolerant Christian, and accept that there are others who believe

differently than you. So how should Christians

respond to Pride Month? Should we stay quiet about what we believe and just be tolerant Christians,

or is it time we started being a little more bold for Christ? So first let me say, I actually don't have any problem with Kershaw's decision.
