At the start of the year, we did a series called God Comes Where He's Wanted.

And honestly, the feedback's been overwhelming.

We have seen such an increase in hunger for prayer and the manifest presence of God in our church community.

So rather than switching to a new series, we thought we're just going to keep this going.

So we're about to start a six-week series leading up to Easter that is on Jesus' teaching about how to interact with God through prayer.

And we're simply calling this God comes where he's won at 2.0.

So I hope this stirs your faith even further and inspires you to seek God like never before.

All right, today's text is Matthew 6, verses 7 through 13.

And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Do not be like them, for your father knows what you need

before you ask him.

This, then, is how you should pray.

Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth

as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

This is the word of the Lord.

There's a dirty little secret in pastoral ministry.

Let me tell you what it is. We baptize people who should not be baptized. The amount of re-baptisms I have done as a pastor is kind of extraordinary.
