0:11.4	seat in a church building this morning to sum up the message of Christianity, you would most likely
0:17.8	hear something along the lines of the message of Christianity is that
0:21.1	God loves me or God loves me enough to send His Son Jesus to die for me.
0:27.6	And what we have seen is that that is not biblical Christianity.
0:32.5	That's not the essence of Christianity.
0:34.0	If God loves me is the essence of Christianity, then who is the object of
0:37.9	Christianity? God loves me. Therefore, Christianity is about me and church is about me and my preferences
0:46.7	and my likes in music and my tastes and this or that area. And my life is about me where I want
0:53.8	to live and what I want to do in my dreams and my plans
0:56.4	and my ambitions.
0:57.1	And that's not Christianity.
0:58.3	Christianity does not say, God loves me, put a period on it, go home.
1:02.2	Biblical Christianity said, God loves me so that his glory and his majesty and his greatness
1:07.5	by it may known in all nations.
1:09.5	He is the object of Christianity, and everything centers around him.
1:14.8	So that begs the question, how do we do community with one another?
1:19.4	How do we love one another and yet be centered on God instead of each other?
1:27.4	How do you do that?
1:29.4	How do you love one another to the glory of God?
1:33.1	How do you guard against loving one another and seeing each other as the end, ultimate end, of that love?
