Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Genesis 41, verse 38.

Now, over the years, my husband has interviewed for quite a few jobs, and he always had the

proper qualifications for each of the positions,

and he worked really hard to prepare for his interviews, but he still felt nervous. I think all of us do. But before each interview, I would remind him of a unique resource he had access to,

the Spirit of God. Pharaoh recognized the importance of a man with the Spirit of God.

After having a series of

concerning dreams, he asked his wise men to interpret them, but they couldn't. Finally, Joseph,

a prisoner, offered to interpret the dreams for Pharaoh. Pharaoh accepted his offer, and

Joseph interpreted the dreams wholly and correctly. After Pharaoh listened to Joseph's interpretation,

he turned to his servants and said,

can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the spirit of God is? Pharaoh's wise men had

years more experience, qualifications for the job, and likely a better education. However,

Pharaoh still recognized that Joseph had the ultimate qualification, the spirit of God.

This story is a powerful reminder that we can do God's work regardless of our preparation or lack thereof.

God can work miracles with a willing servant.

So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is, God can make you marvelous.
