Hey, it's Callie Black here with today's thought. And Merry Christmas.

Today we'll be studying the final sentence of the Living Christ document.

My grandma was one of the best gift givers ever, like truly, especially now as I get older.

I don't know how she did it.

She was amazing.

We always spent Christmas morning at her home, and she spoiled us with way too many presents.

After I would open each present, my mom would make me stand up, walk over to grandma, give her a hug, and say,

thank you. As I entered my teenage years, I thought, Grandma knows that I am grateful for all

her gifts. I don't think I really have to get up and walk over to her after every single present.

I tried at once, and my mom immediately called me out. It is tempting to her after every single present. I tried at once, and my mom immediately called me out.

It is tempting to think that other people should just know how grateful we are for them and for the gifts that they give.

But as we read in the final sentence of the Living Christ, God be thanked for the matchless gift of his divine son.

God has given us the best gift of all with our Savior.

Jesus is better than any gift on any list.

He is the one who makes resurrection, repentance, priesthood power, covenants,

and so much more possible. When was the last time we thanked God for this matchless gift?

begotten son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. So the takeaway of the day in five words or less,
