Hey, everybody. This short segment is called a go-to.

It refers back to this crazy thing we used to do at the end of our sorority meetings in college.

across the country and of course far-flung family members wherever they might be and as for your

So here's what's going to happen.

I'm going to spend the next little bit telling you the secret of life.

You're going to forget it by dinner time.

And in 20 years, you're going to call a classmate and say, hey, what did that lady tell us again? You know, the one at graduation?

Now that we've established expectations, let's start with three stories. Number one, maybe five

or six years ago, my husband was invited to a dinner in San Francisco at this old fancy place that only lets in men.

He shaved his face and put on his only suit and headed into the city. After cocktails, they were

seated. His first impression, in his second and his third, was that the guy next to him was a real

dud. He texted me under the table. I'll be home early. Some food was served, some wine was poured,
