Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Genesis 30, verses 1, 14, 22, and 23.

Rachel faced a horrible trial. She was childless when she desperately wanted to be a mother.

Her attempts to solve this problem reflect how we often approach her struggles. The first thing

Rachel did was to go to her husband, quote, and when Rachel saw that she bared Jacob

no children, Rachel said into Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

The second thing Rachel did was to try to use the medical wisdom of her day.

And Rubin went and found mandrakes in the field and brought them unto his mother, Leah.
