During the month of February, Kellie will chat with survivors and doctors in an effort to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally. Taelur Littlejohn suffered a series of heart attacks after giving birth and shares her story.

0:09.0	You know, February is Heart Health Month. We're putting the focus on Heart Health after my heart
0:15.2	scare last year suddenly I started paying attention because until until something
0:20.2	affects you you you're like oh that's somebody else's problem right but
0:23.6	the truth is that more women die from cardiovascular disease than all cancers
0:31.9	combined which is actually a very scary thought, right?
0:36.8	So today we're actually going to talk about a certain area of heart health because a lot of
0:42.4	times women experience you
0:43.6	know we we experience things that men don't often experience in their lives we go
0:47.2	through very different transitions like pregnancy men don't experience that or
0:52.0	menopause even though some people say there's a thing called
0:54.9	manopause. I don't know about that. But, you know, because of those hormonal changes in our bodies,
1:00.4	we face very different heart concerns than some men do and to talk about what can
1:06.7	happen to a woman's heart health during pregnancy we not only have a woman who
1:11.3	experienced that during her pregnancy.
1:14.0	We also have an OBGYN, Dr Omar Cabrera who's joining us,
1:19.2	who can give us from the medical standpoint,

1:23.4	a woman who's actually been through it so first we're going to welcome
