This is an old friend of the show.

I feel like we've been having him on since he was playing for Holland Christian.

But, in fact, he is playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.

It is Kirk Daniel Cousins. Casey, how we doing, baby? Let's go.

I'm doing well, guys. Good to be with you from fabulous Las Vegas. It's about six in the morning here, but I'm on East Coast time, so it's all good. I feel like you're wired for that,

man. I really do. You said fabulous. I said surreal.

How does it feel, man? Yeah, it's exciting. I think for me, when I walked into the building

a couple days ago for the first time and saw the logo and the quotes by Al Davis, it just kind of hit

me. What a privilege it is to play for the, for the Raiders. And so

it's been fun. It's got to be the best facility in the league. You know, when I was in Minnesota,

that was a tremendous facility. But this Raiders facility, the cafeteria, I mean, it is the top

of the top. So those NFL PA grades are real. And they get high marks for a reason.

15th season, Kirk, 15 years in the league. I mean, first of all, when you, when you got drafted, did you expect like,

are you like, I'm going to be here for as long as I can. I'm doing 15. I'm doing 20. Like, I'm doing it all. Like, what does it feel like going into your 15th season? And what do you feel like what's left for you? Like what do you got to offer? What's left in the tank for Kirk Cousins? Yeah, I remember being a fourth round pick and realizing that at mini camp, there were 90 guys, and they're only going to keep 53. And I thought, I better practice pretty well because I may not be here come September. And they said, well, as a fourth round pick, a teammate said, you'll have about a year. And then you're going to have to be better than every other option. So I remember putting on that helmet at my first mini camp and just saying, well, if I never make it past this, at least I got to wear an NFL helmet for one practice. So to still be playing here in year 15 in 2026 is, you know, a real privilege for me. And yeah, I think there's still a lot of good football left to me. I think I got my love for the game back late last season and went into this offseason, kind of open-minded. It didn't know where it was going to go, but things kind of aligned to be able to get here under coaches. I really respect with a team that I think has an arrow trending up. And a great chance to kind of lead and influence locker room and hopefully set it up in the right direction for years to come, even when I'm done playing. You know, you're now in this club of these guys that you've seen it all, man. Like you've done everything. You've seen everything. And we're talking about the Raiders now, and we all assume, I think, rightfully so, that the Raiders with the number one pick are going to take Fernando Mendoza from Indiana to play quarterback.

Kirk, I feel like you've been through this. You can go back to RG3 as recently as Michael Panix Jr. You've kind of had this dynamic before. You know how we do on this show. We have friendly debates, and we were debating just the other day. You know, is Kirk going to start? Is it going to be the rookie? I personally think you're going to start and should start.
