This is Akbar Bajibiyamila, Peter Schrager, and Kyle Brandt, of Brandt of course our friends in New York welcome inside our show if you have been watching the news

overnight of the fires spreading throughout Los Angeles and you see the

destruction that is taking place not far from us we know the visuals are

extremely unsettling for many some that work on this show being in the

vicinity of this event is jarring.

It's being reported hundreds of homes have already burned down, tens of thousands of people evacuated from those homes, and even more or without power.

With more than 1,400 firefighting and emergency personnel deployed, we would like to welcome you into our show this morning to provide some relief,

some joy for the game that we all love, but know that our support is with those that are affected.

Yeah, and in the face of adversity, I just want to say that, you know, our community is strong.

The people are strong here. And so, you know, just give a shout out to the first responders who are

working so, so hard. And our prayers are up to all those families and people who are impacted by the fires. So I know that's a hard pivot to make, you know, to start talking football. But so we got to do. Yep. Listen, you guys said everything. Peter goes to L.A. every single weekend for work. I lived at LA.A. for 15 years. I have a lot of family there. It's morbid and it's frightening. And wildfires are part of culture, really, in Los Angeles. It's a terrible thing they have to put up with. This is different. This is not just the actual fires that you see year after year. This is massive. This is terrifying. And the videos are incredibly sobering. My heart goes out to

everybody there and everybody fighting through this. Thank you very much for joining us. And I hope we can talk some football for you today. We're a coast to coast show. We're here in New York and we're thinking about you guys in L.A. And when there's things that happen on the East Coast, you guys are thinking about us there. We're all family and we appreciate the viewers who are everywhere in between watching us this morning. We're going to do our best talks on football,

With that being said, there will be some games to be played this weekend, and that's a lot to look forward to. So let's turn our attention to the AFC side of things, shall we? you're looking at head coaches. You're looking at quarterbacks. Those are two characters. Normally, those are two characters right there. But normally those two names on any team are the ones that have the most to lose or the most to game. Pick a coach or a quarterback. Peter, I'll start with you that you think has that going for them this weekend, the most to lose or the most to game.

I think Herbert's a great one. I think Harbaugh is pretty sad. He's kind of a made man.

To me, I look at this and I look at the entire slate, and you're talking about the AFC, specifically.

I look at the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I think it's a very loaded topic when you talk about Mike Tomlin and what he's walking

into right now.

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers have made the playoffs again.
