I'm a jerk.

Come on. Hey, hey, hey. Oh, no. Good morning football. I kind of want to psychoanaly what just happened in that open of the GMFB. Jamie, Mantic Willie and Kyle. Willie, when you sit next to Kyle and he says things like, oh, we're going to play a game and I'm probably going to win. Is it light of fury inside of you that it does us? because like now I'm just kind of of angry and wildly too competitive for something that's going to happen a half an hour from now. No, my job is the only back them up because we don't have a great record right now. I have to step up. So I think about me how I'm going to add to the party. Somebody has to stir the pot. Jamie,, sometimes people throw a towel in my face and walk off the show. You never know how it's going to go when I get that thing going. So that's you're right if you want to do as well. That's too great. And the court of public opinion, I hear really loved that that happened and fully understood the full circle moment. The public opinion, the family opinion. We had no idea what was going on.

1:12.5

I don't care.

1:14.4

Speaking of keeping it in the family,

1:16.1

let's talk about the Jones, shall we?

1:19.1

Jerry Jones and the Cowboys are feeling pretty good about themselves.

1:20.7

After leaving Pittsburgh over the weekend,

1:24.5

the defense in Dallas has undergone a massive overhaul.

1:27.5

And Jerry Jones couldn't be more excited to tell everybody about it.

1:34.6

What you're seeing going on right now is a product of three or four or five years or maybe more that we just haven't been able to ultimately get where we're trying to go and be a contender.

1:41.4

And so I personally, just because it's going to be different, it's going to be fresh,

1:48.0

we've got a lot of great energy here. If we've done anything, just look at these first picks,

1:54.9

then you go back and look at who's influencing them, which is the staff's influence them. We're doing that a lot.

2:01.9

And so I'd say that in general.

2:05.2

When I lay my head down tonight, I'm going to say we're doing something about the defense

2:09.1

on this team.

2:11.4

Well, that's good to hear because we all saw what Dak Prescott and the rest of the Cowboys

2:15.1

offense did in 2025.

2:17.6

But did the Cowboys do enough on defense? Jerry Jones seems to think so, Mantai, but do you think it's enough to hang with the NFC East? I feel attacked today. Why? I feel attacked. To begin, our first hour we talked about the Bengals and then the Bengals defense. And now we're talking about the Cowboys and the Cowboys defense. As a defensive representative of this show, I feel personally attacked. But I don't feel personally attacked if I am the Dallas Cowboys. Why? I think what they've done defensively is phenomenal. I would love to be a linebacker behind the front that they have right now. You have Quinn and Williams and Kenny Clark. I'm not even talking about the D-Ns. I'm talking about those two guys in the middle that's going to protect me if I'm a middle linebacker. I would love to be behind those guys. Now you add Caleb Downs, who in my opinion, was the best defensive prospect coming out of this draft was a second top prospect, in my opinion, behind Jeremiah Love to come out. He is going to Dallas. Smart cerebral can play. Behind the line of scrimmage, at the line of scrimmage, as a ball hawk. You talk about these hybrids, right? Whatever you want to call them. Caleb Downs is that type. Caleb Downs reminds me of the Honey Badger. Like this guy has that type of cerebral, he has those type of instincts and all of the rest of the draft picks here.
